Will the club provide me with a uniform?

Open Grade

  • Red/Maroon Singlet and Black Skirt supplied:  P1 women

  • Red/Maroon Shirt and Black Skirt supplied:  P2, P3, and R2 women

  • Red/Maroon Shirt and Black Shorts supplied: Men

 

Juniors

  • Red/Maroon Shirt will be supplied.  Bring your own black shorts.

 

All players for all grades are required to wear Maroon Socks which are not provided by the club. 

Club socks are available for purchase for $16.50 (details below).

What are the subs for 2023?

Open Grade – Men and Women

Adult $430

Goal Keepers with own gear $400

University Student $360

Secondary School Student $295

Casual $110 + $21 per game --- (Note: This allows for registration and three games.  After that, the player is charged $21 per game.

Full time adult players will have priority over the casual players. This sub type is designed for a player who won't play many games however if you end up playing lots of games the total amount you pay as a casual won't be any more than the relevant full time subscription. ) 

 

Juniors

Mini-Sticks Year 3/4 - $70

Primary Year 5/6 - $100

Primary Year 7/8 -$100

Open Grade:  $100 deposit is due by 14th of April 2023 and the balance of subs are due by 30 June 2023 unless you have an agreed payment plan with us.  Email:  huttunitedhockey@gmail.com

When does the season start and finish?

Open grade 

  • All grades start dates:  Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th of April 2023

  • P1 finish date:  Saturday 20 August 2022

  • All other grades finish dates:  Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th of September 2023  

 

Juniors

  • Start date:  Saturday 29th of April 2023

  • Finish date:  Saturday 16th of September 2023

When are Open Grade club trainings for 2023 ?

  • Tuesdays: P1 Men & P1 Women 8:30pm- 9:30pm (Fraser)

  • Wednesdays: P3 & R1 & R3 Women 7:30-8:30pm (Fraser)  

  • Thursdays:  P1 Men & P1 Women 7:30-8:30pm ,P2 Women 6:30-7:30pm, P2 Men 8:30-9:30pm (NHS)

Club fundraising expectations
We expect all club members to support our fundraising efforts, by attending Clubs Day, Quiz nights and looking for sponsorship opportunities

How do I sponsor Hutt United HC? 
We are reaching out to our hockey community to sponsor our amazing club and looking to engage with local businesses to a value of $500.  If this is something you’re interested in, please contact Nin Roberts:  huttunitedhockey@gmail.com

 

What club events are happening this year?
We are looking to run a few events this year which will support our club.  

  • Club Day:  We are currently working with WHA to ensure that we get as many games as possible at the same venue so that we can support our club, from Juniors through to our P1 Seniors. Dates for this will follow in our newsletters.  

  • Quiz Night: Details of this fundraising event will follow later in the season. Any support (items for raffles, entering a team) that you can help with would be appreciated.

  • Prizegiving:  Details will follow later in the season.
